About

Established in 1969, the Forest Grove Swim Club (FGSC) is a year-round competitive swimming program created for the youth of Forest Grove, Banks, Gaston, North Plains, and the surrounding areas of Western Washington and Yamhill Counties. FGSC has a rich history of teaching and producing successful students/athletes.

"Fierce and Mighty Dragon" swimmers have enjoyed success at many levels:
-US Olympic Team Trials Qualifiers
-USA Swimming's Senior National Qualifiers
-USA Swimming's Junior National Qualifiers
-Oregon High School State Champions
-Scholastic All-American team honors

As members of Oregon Swimming and USA Swimming, Forest Grove Swim Club is open to various ability levels and is dedicated to the maximum development of each swimmer as an athlete and individual. Participation in youth sports is a life-enhancing experience. We are committed to growing and celebrating diversity, increasing fairness throughout our organization, and intentionally creating environments where differences are embraced and everyone feels welcome, respected, supported, and valued to participate fully.

Our program comprises year-round athletes that emphasize structure, teamwork, respect, passion, and discipline; the better the person, the better the athlete, and the better the swimmer. The benefits of swimming and Forest Grove Swim Club go far beyond the pool; we are a true community program. Forest Grove Swim Club believes that swimming should be a challenging, positive, and rewarding experience for all its athletes and their families. Dragon athletes will learn about personal responsibility and sportsmanship. We believe every swimmer must do their part to support their "family" of fellow athletes.
